    • You eventually had to get a win against Parra. They had won the last 6 consecutive games.
All that win did was give Manly fans a false sense as the win had nothing to do with how well Manly played but everything to do with how bad Parra played.
That was evident in the fact you got smashed the next week by the Bunnies.
      Tigers 42 Manly 6
Parra will continue their run of losses by getting done by the Raiders 48-6

      • Well parra eventually had to make the finals and all that did was lead you into a false sense as your draw was the easiest and the refs gave you many a game especially the dogs game in extra time. Your 0-5 run will stop thanks to manly jr gutherson imo but seems youve already given up hope lol let the butt hurt flow through you and check out parra fan burns jersey on youtube its a classic and top viewing. All after the 54 – 0 😉

        • Those fans are only the ones who jumped on last year when we made the finals though, so no real loss. Us true Eels fans will always be here mate. Trust me, anyone who has been an Eels fan for a decent period of time isn’t giving up after that atrocious Manly game, I am sure you are happy to point out what we have been through as fans.

Vijay, Kev is an Eel mate, just a bit of a disillusioned one at the moment.

    • Is that like how they bashed the knights, bunnies and titans. All games they’d normally be expected to win.

      • I think you guys are in trouble of dropping your first game this week dragon… The Sharks have been pretty terrible, but will have a point to prove on the weekend.

        • Yeah, probably not. There’s this thing called form buddy, you should look up the meaning. The gummies always carry on like they have a point to prove, it’s a side effect of suffering from small man syndrome. Problem is it doesn’t get them anywhere. I’d probably be worrying more about your team actually breaking their duck.

        • Mate, I wasn’t having a dig or anything, just giving my opinion on a game. I am obviously well aware of the problems my team is facing. I applaud the form of the Dragons thus far, I just think the first loss may come this week. No need to get all defensive about it.

        • Comments from the super guru brissydragon. A fan of a team who was forced into a merger to survive, pays massive overs for average players and then has hardly made the play offs in nearly a decade. Keep those “in form” predictions coming champ. We’ve played 5 rounds and it’s a very long way to the finish line again for the drags.

        • Not defensive eels, just disagreeing, and your opinions are always welcome. As for bbbj hahaha, you’re as pathetic with your arguments as some of the manly fans in here. Overs? Like I said previously, we might be paying a fair bit for Hunt but it’s working out fairly well ATM I would say. You geniuses are paying Dugan a fortune to do what? I always laugh when Cronulla takes our garbage off of us and tries to dress it up as a success. Your paying Holmes a ludicrous amount- to play on the wing and you think we’re paying overs. Hardly made the playoffs in a decade? I seem to remember us winning a title less than a decade ago and have made the finals probably half of those years, oh and by the way, we didn’t need to dose up on peptides to do it. Yes you guys may have finally gotten one across the line in 2016, even though a number of your key players should have been sitting out a 12 month drug suspension (just like the essendon boys) but hey little brother, you’ve only got another 15 to win before you catch up.

      • Brissydragon its a long year and injuries will strike we lost 2 forwards in one game for the year and taufua for 8 weeks. Your turn will come buddy and lose you shall just not this week the sharks are awful.. moylan and dugan LOL what were they thinking

        • But I do see your point. Moylan and Dugan, the sharks are always good for a laugh. I honestly don’t think Moylan would go too bad if that mouth breather Flanagan just left him at fullback, but then again they have to justify Dugan and Holmes salaries don’t they. Recruiting strategy- fail.

        • The early season bravado from Dragons fans is a never ceasing source of amusement. Based on history, and we mean St George – Illawarra merged venture history, not something that happened 60 years ago with a club that now really doesn’t exist, there’s really not a lot to cheer about is there. Most young footy fans either weren’t born or can’t even remember 2010 way back when Wayne was about 80 and the dragons won a comp sans Melbourne Storm. You may continue to mouth off for now but we expect you to be humble, apologetic and respectful when the inevitable Dragon tears come in September.

        • Yeah, Moylan is a bigger mistake than Dugan too. They should have given Maloney that 3 year extension he wanted instead of putting their faith in a 26 year old who is still living off his potential….

  1. So BA comes out a couple of weeks ago and says players are on notice for poor discipline, then in the very next game “captain” Timmy gives away 3 penalties in a row and is rightfully sin binned for it, yet it is Alvaro who drops back to the bench and Tim keeps his spot? And everyone could see that Tony Williams is not an 80 minute player, or a starter at all for that matter, but he is named at 12 (is Des hanging around BA or something?)

Bring Smith into the 17 as Kaysa can’t play 80 minutes, drop Williams to the bench and start Scott, drop Mannah all together and start Alvaro and bring Gower on to the bench and swap Matagai in for Evans who is trash.
