7. David Klemmer

Newcastle's second big middle star can count himself very unlucky not to have made the Origin cut. He had a big season and debate will rage on as to whether he would have made the difference in Game III.

172 metres per game, 21 tackle breaks and 45 offloads put him atop nearly everyone on this list. He had over 1500 post contact metres and 95% tackle efficiency. Yikes!

Looking at those numbers, it's almost criminal that he didn't earn a return to the Origin arena. Another who did not allow himself to become the target many expected with the new rules.

  1. The Parramatta pair got a number one ranking for 2020, in another sites article mreel. So you’d be happy with that, being as biased as you are.
However, each club has 4 plus props in their top squads & there are 16 clubs. So number 9 is pretty good.
    Paulo got a 6/ 10 rating in origin 3.
Parramatta failed to make the Grand Final yet again.
Number 9 may be a little light on? Still pretty close to the Mark.

  2. By the way mreel…
2022, looks pretty bleak on the wings , for your eels. No Ferguson. No Sivo, if they don’t pay his contract upgrade.
The ‘Riff’ as you like to say. To’o & Staines. Will be Vastly Superior our wide.
