In this week's five players we'd bring back we look at the New Zealand Warriors.

For those who missed last week's intro, these are five former players from the club we'd bring back to improve the current NRL squad.

As mentioned in last week's Sharks article, recently retired players, or those playing in Super League are not considered. Manu, Mannering, Johnson etc will therefore not be considered.

3. Steve Price

With all due respect to Ah Mau and Burr, the Warriors probably need an upgrade in the middle to hang with the big teams. Wiki and Price would form an elite front row pairing and would completely re-shape the Warriors squad.

Price is probably better known for his time at the Bulldogs but he became a legit favourite and legend during his four year, 90+ game stint at the Warriors.

He became so loved across the Tasman that he played for the All Golds, a New Zealand international side with one Australian player.

In 2007 he was named both the Dally M prop and captain of the year. He won the Warriors player of the year twice in his four years. That's incredible for a player who could have coasted to retirement following a monster Bulldogs career.
