In this week's five players we'd bring back we look at the New Zealand Warriors.

For those who missed last week's intro, these are five former players from the club we'd bring back to improve the current NRL squad.

As mentioned in last week's Sharks article, recently retired players, or those playing in Super League are not considered. Manu, Mannering, Johnson etc will therefore not be considered.

2. Ruben Wiki

If Jones it the obvious choice, Wiki is a close second. Judging by his recent appearances as a trainer, the 47 year-old club legend could still play today.

Although he played the majority of his career with the Canberra Raiders, Wiki is a Warriors legend through and through. His three years for the club may have well been six or seven.

He would be the club's starting prop, and probable captain, although he won a title in the centres and played plenty of second row. Prop is where I best remember Wiki though.

55 test caps for the Kiwis and 311 NRL games, Wiki did it all.

The current Warriors lineup needs a big, powerful, aggressive, leader up front. Literally no one fits that bill better than Ruben Wiki.
