Last week we looked at 10 unlucky New South Wales players who probably won't play Origin this year

Today, we move into the rival camp and name 10 Queensland players who will likely miss out on selection.

2. Corey Oates

Just prior to the restart of the NRL season I predicted Oates would play Origin on the wing for Queensland this year. Hardly a brave statement considering his history in rep footy, but as it stands I can't find a place for the sadly out of form winger.

He has plenty of time to play himself back into contention but Valentine Holmes is a certainty and I'd play Gagai ahead of him based on the Souths wingers incredible Origin record. Oates will need to be well above the two aforementioned players in terms of form to trouble either. Right now, he simply isn't.
