Grand Final week is finally upon us, and what a Grand Final we have.
The two best sides across the competition, both of whom seem to be peaking at the right time.
Neither side is missing a megastar through injury or suspension either.
This game has all the ingredients to be one of the all time deciders!!!
Unfortunately that doesn't always mean a brilliant, or competitive game. We've seen Grand Final blowouts in the past, while other games have been ... ok.
Today though we are going to focus on those Grand Finals that not only lived up to but even surpassed all expectations.

2. Penrith Panthers 14 def South Sydney Rabbitohs 12 - 2021
If a game ever deserved to be played in front of 82,500 people, it was this one!
Unfortunately Covid had other ideas and 'only' 39,000 could be there in Suncorp Stadium for this blockbuster.
This is a game that will be remembered mainly for the intercept pass that ultimately proved pivotal but this was a marvellous contest.
Two tries each. A penalty goal each. Ultimately it came down to a missed conversion from the sideline. It was 8-6 at halftime. This game was as tense as it gets.
Grand Finals are mainly remembered for their finishes and this was frantic. Souths threatened to steal it late on but ultimately the Panthers held them out.
You could argue if this game went another 10 minutes, the Bunnies may have jagged it.
