Even the greatest players have down seasons. Whether that be to a point they lose their spot, or just don't quite live up to their previous performances.

Below we look at 10 players who probably didn't have the 2020 they expected, whom I fully expect to bounce back in a big way.

We've left rookies off who are obviously expected to improve as they continue in their development.

9. Blake Ferguson

The former New South Wales winger not only lost his spot at rep level but has also been told his contract won't be extended on the back of a horror 2020 season.

He scored only four tries across 20 games for the Eels. It took until Round 17 for the former try machine to cross for his first four-pointer. The drought broke his eight season stretch of double digit tries to his name.

I expect his 2021 to be much better. I expect 8+ tries and his average metres back towards 200 per game as he looks for a new club at the end of his current deal.
