Across 26 gruelling rounds, some of the game's brightest talents have taken to the field of play. For some, it's a chance to push for a first-grade debut and become a permanent feature in years to come.
After one of the most competitive seasons in NSW Cup history, we at The League Scene have decided to list seven of the most exciting prospects yet to make their NRL debut that could make their way into the top flight next season.
4. Kayliss Fatialofa - Manly Sea Eagles
One of the more unheralded signings ahead of the 2027 season, young back-rower Kayliss Fatialofa will be one prospect that will be pushing very hard for an NRL debut this season.
The 21-year-old was allowed to test the open market after a series of unfortunate events robbed him of a potential debut in Round 15. As revealed by Zero Tackle earlier in the year, Manly pounced on his services as they needed depth in the second row in more ways than one.
A high tackle-busting forward, Fatialofa broke 62 tackles this past season and had 20 offloads for the Warriors after bursting on the scene over the last two seasons. 2027 will see him start across NSW Cup and on the six-man bench but it won't be long before we see him in the NRL.
With Haumole Olakau'atu destined for Origin football again, Manly need to have an impact player at a moment's notice, and Fatialofa can be that man. The Sea Eagles have faced fair criticism over their forward pack and this young man along with a fresh Caleb Navale can reinvigorate their pack next season.

Your comment about the reticence of Craig Fitzgibbon to give youngsters a chance is spot on the money. Don’t expect Felix Faiatilli to fare any better.
The younger brother of Storm sensation Cooper Clarke..
uh, pretty sure cooper is younger then him but i digress?
