Across 26 gruelling rounds, some of the game's brightest talents have taken to the field of play. For some, it's a chance to push for a first-grade debut and become a permanent feature in years to come.
After one of the most competitive seasons in NSW Cup history, we at The League Scene have decided to list seven of the most exciting prospects yet to make their NRL debut that could make their way into the top flight next season.
5. Logan Spinks - Canterbury Bulldogs
A NSW Cup TOTY representative, Logan Spinks has shown immense improvement in his second season of open age rugby league for the Bulldogs NSW Cup side.
The young tearaway was also made captain of the Cup side this season as he stamped his case for an NRL debut. Despite calls for him to debut because of the Bulldogs' forward pack problems, Cameron Ciraldo kept Spinks in reserve grade to hone his craft.
In a breakout 2026, Spinks did all he could to push for an NRL debut. Despite still being eligible for Jersey Flegg, the 20-year-old captained the side brilliantly this season, scoring 18 tries, averaging 27 tackles a game and having 24 offloads.
He also led the competition in charge-downs, highlighting his attention to detail in kick chases, a cornerstone of the Bulldogs NRL squad in recent seasons. With efforts like that, and roster spots opening up, a debut is in the offing for 2027.

Your comment about the reticence of Craig Fitzgibbon to give youngsters a chance is spot on the money. Don’t expect Felix Faiatilli to fare any better.
