The Gold Coast Titans have suffered a major blow with Ryan Simpkins suffering a season-ending injury and centre Dan Sarginson could soon follow.

Simpkins ruptured his ACL in Round 10 and joins a number of high-profile NRL players who have also been sidelined this season with the injury such as Tony Williams, Greg Inglis, Matthew Scott and Jamal Idris.

Sarginson, also a casualty of Round 10, is likely to need surgery to repair his dislocated shoulder.

The Titans are already down on troops with Kevin Proctor suspended and forward Chris Grevsmuhl still unsure if he'll play again this season after suffering a dislocated shoulder as well.
