South Sydney Rabbitohs head of high performance Paul Devlin says fullback Alex Johnston will not miss many games after injuring his hamstring in the first two minutes against Sydney.

Devlin said the 21 year-old " felt some tightness in that hamstring and didn't feel confident at all", in a report on rabbitohs.com.au.

In exciting news for Rabbitohs fans, Devlin added "he's pulled up really well" and "he'll start rebuilding his confidence in that hamstring tomorrow."

In other big news for South Sydney, Devlin revealed that captain Greg Inglis could be available next week for selection.

"He's progressing really really well," he said.

"We expect him to be available next week."

South Sydney currently sits second on the NRL ladder with three games left in the home and away season.
