The Manly Sea Eagles will be scrambling to name a team for Round 2 with Martin Taupau (suspension), Addin Fonua-Blake (suspension) and Lloyd Perrett (injury) all sidelined for a number of weeks.

The Sea Eagles face a tough ask ahead of their match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs with their forward pack decimated by injury and suspension.

Props Martin Taupau and Addin Fonua-Blake were both charged by the match review committee for shoulder charges in the Round 1 match against the Parramatta Eels. Both players have taken the early guilty plea for their respective charges and will be suspended for two weeks.

To make matters worse, forward Lloyd Perrett has a fractured eye socket and won't be available for a month.

Perrett is not the only injury concern the club has though, with Darcy Lussick (wrist) and Shaun Lane (foot) also on the sidelines for another few weeks.
