Euan Aitken's transformation in the past 12 months has been nothing short of spectacular.

He has gone from a decent to good centre to a lethal edge player during his time at the Warriors. He's now firmly established himself as a wide running, try-scoring, back-rower.

With the Warriors set to return to their home base in New Zealand full time from 2023, Aitken has made it clear he will not be relocating.

This means he is on the lookout for a new club in 2023 and beyond.

Usually in these lists, it's easy to link players with a Super League stint, however given Aitken's reluctance to move across the Tasman, it's not really feesable to suggest he'd move to England.

Below are five clubs who could provide landing spots for Aitken in 2023.

3. Wests Tigers

The Tigers have made no secret of their chase for Britton Nikora. They very obviously want an experienced option to replace the outgoing Leilua.

If the Nikora deal falls over, and it looks 50-50 as I type this, the Tigers could do way worse than offering Aitken a deal.

Unfortunately, the Tigers have a nasty habit of offering up big money for players on the decline.

Aitken is very much in the prime of his career and I would confidently suggest the best form of his career also.

The Tigers' centre pairing is far from being settled. There's a spot there also if Aitken and his team market him as a centre option.

This deal would probably hinge on the outcome of the Nikora chase, however either way I see Aitken as a far more consistent option than some of those currently representing the Tigers.
