Former Storm, Maroons and Kangaroos teammates Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk's falling out was clear as day after their teams met on Friday night.

Cronk embraced all his ex-teammates with friendly chatter, hugs and pats on the back, whereas he seemed to give Smith an obligatory handshake on his way through, like something you would see in junior competition.

Cronk and Roosters assistant coach Matt King met with Storm players and coaching staff at an Adelaide pub after the game, where there was no communication between the dual Dally M Medallist and Smith, according to a report from The Daily Telegraph.

It sparks the ongoing discussion surrounding the pairs feud, following Cronk's defection from the Storm to the Roosters at the end of the 2017 NRL season.

Their rivalry exasperated when Smith did not attend Cronk's a few weeks later.

At the time Smith told NRL360: “I was as upset as anyone at the club when he came over my house and told me he was leaving, I was quite shocked and taken aback.

“I would’ve loved for Cooper to finish his career at the Storm. It wasn’t to be so my mentality now as captain and one of the leaders in our team is to do the very best we can with the squad we have at the moment and that’s by not thinking about wishing Cooper was here.”
