Across 26 gruelling rounds, some of the game's brightest talents have taken to the field of play. For some, it's a chance to push for a first-grade debut and become a permanent feature in years to come.

After one of the most competitive seasons in NSW Cup history, we at The League Scene have decided to list seven of the most exciting prospects yet to make their NRL debut that could make their way into the top flight next season.

2. Jye Linnane - New Zealand Warriors

In a Warriors side that has plenty of talented young halves coming through. The decision to sign Jye Linnane fresh off two ACL injuries had a lot of people scratching their heads.

However, the moment he found his way into NSW Cup, the 21-year-old didn't look back. Playing in an unfamiliar position of centre, Linnane took to it like the professional athlete he is growing into becoming.

After making his NSW Cup debut in May, Linnane held his position for the remainder of the season, scoring 14 tries in just 13 matches. What was more, was his ability to dominate his opposite number using his tall frame and strong build to his advantage.

Linnane was strong in defence, making 88% of his tackles whilst averaging 134 metres a game. Further, the former Knights junior busted 79 tackles (averaging six per game).

With question marks on the Warriors' centre play towards the final rounds and Adam Pompey's departure to Melbourne. Expect Linnane to compete for a centre jersey to start the year.
