The Manly Sea Eagles have released a statement denying reports they are looking to sign Newcastle Knights fullback Bradman Best.

This follows the statement from the club last week where they denied media reports they were looking to signing Cronulla Sharks forward Sam Tagataese.

The Sea Eagles have denied having any discussions with either player or their management.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles wish to advise the Club has not spoken to the manager of young Newcastle Knights fullback Bradman Best.

A media report today states that Manly and the Knights are involved in a ‘bitter battle over the player being labelled as the best junior to emerge from Newcastle since Andrew Johns’.

The Sea Eagles have not had any negotiations in signing the 15-year-old from the Knights.
