Gold Coast Titans have given star forward Jai Arrow permission to start negotiating for 2021 immediately, as reported by NRL.com.

The Titans have tabled a $3 million offer to keep the 24-year old but Arrow has said he wants to talk to other clubs first and is eager to test his value and will move for the right deal although his preference is to stay on the Gold Coast.

The club have decided to let Arrow's management team start negotiations immediately to speed up the process and a bidding frenzy is expected.

Parramatta and Canterbury are two clubs keen to lure the Queensland Origin representative and will have the finances to do it. Meanwhile the Titans may have to offload players to afford to keep him on.

Gold Coast have not made an official statement on the discussions but have focused on retaining AJ Brimson and 19-year old Moeaki Fotuaika, extending Fotuaika's deal until 2022 already this week.

  1. Souffs will sign him, they’ve only signed 16 ‘newbies’ for 2020…. He is a bit young but hey, got to work on his Grubbiness.

  2. He’s a quality player, young and has Origin experience. I also have never seen him be grubby or get rattled in games. As a Dogs supporter I’d love to see him in Blue and White. Not sure on the price tag though.
