Sydney prop Dylan Napa could miss the entire finals series if he unsuccessfully challenges his grade three dangerous contact charge for his hit on Brisbane's Andrew McCulough on Saturday night.
Napa will serve a three-game ban if he accepts the ban and enters an early guilty plea, but would miss four games if he tries to challenge the judiciary and loses.
If the Roosters remain in the top four and win their qualifying final, Napa could return for the grand final if he enters a guilty plea, and could miss the post-season all together if the Roosters win through and he fails to overturn the charge.
The Roosters have until 12pm on Tuesday to enter a plea.
