The Sydney Roosters have announced that Mitchell Pearce has signed a two-year extension, keeping him with the Tricolours until at least the end of 2019.
As he prepares to contest his 11th season of NRL, the 27-year-old halfback spoke of the pride he felt to represent the Roosters.
โThe Roosters mean a lot to me. The Club has been a big part of my life, and thereโs been a lot of loyalty,โ said Pearce.
โThereโs such a good group of people at the Roosters and Iโve made some of my closest mates here. Iโm proud to represent the Club, and I feel like Iโve got unfinished business,โ he added.
Sydney Roosters Head Coach Trent Robinson added: โMitch is a Rooster and this is his home, so its great news for our Members and everyone at the Club to know that he will continue to play his role with the Roosters in the coming years."
