The 2026 NRL Grand Final is here, with the Newcastle Knights looking to extend their fairytale run through the finals when they clash with the Sydney Roosters, playing their first grand final in seven years.
Follow all the action live on Zero Tackle with our blog, scores and commentary.
While last year it was the two teams with a week off heading to the grand final, this year it was the two teams forced to play in Week 2, with the Newcastle Knights winning an elimination final against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, before picking up two more upsets away from home against the New Zealand Warriors and Penrith Panthers.
The Roosters, on the other hand, had to do things the hard way after losing to the Panthers in Week 1 of the finals, but bounced back with strong wins over the Cronulla Sharks and Dolphins.
Trent Robinson's side will break the 50-point curse if they win the decider, while the Knights will need to become the first team of the NRL era to win a competition from outside the top four.
Kick-off is set for 7:30pm (AEDT) at Sydney Olympic Park's Accor Stadium.

Final teams are in, and so is Diesel Hagan. He will be on the bench, with Kyle McCarthy missing out. Harrison Graham is on the bench too, with Thomas Cant to start at dummy half.
Just one change for the Roosters with Benaiah Ioelu replacing Connor Watson. Egan Butcher misses out.

After a miserable day yesterday in Sydney, it has turned it on this afternoon. A top of 24 today with the sun out has dried things up nicely. As it stands, the temperature is 21 degrees, and isn't expected to go below 18 degrees before full time. A light breeze is blowing, but nothing outrageous.
Perfect night for a grand final, really.

The NRLW decider has just wrapped up, with the Sydney Roosters hammering the Brisbane Broncos 30 points to 6.
Earlier today, the Penrith Panthers were flogged by the Dolphins in the State Championship 68 points to 14.

Teams for tonight's grand final will be in at 6pm (AEDT). The latest news is that we are expecting Diesel Hagan to be on the six-man bench for the Knights with Phoenix Crossland out. Whether that means Thomas Cant or Harrison Graham starts at dummy half remains to be seen.
