Brisbane have confirmed centre Jack Bird will miss the rest of the 2019 NRL season after suffering a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) on Friday night.

Midway through the second half, Bird suffered the injury in a tackle, with an MRI on Friday night confirming the severity of his injury.

Bird will now miss the remainder of the 2019 campaign.

  3. The fact is regardless that the Broncos won the game they did not play well if they’d played a better team they would’ve lost.

  4. Not a broncos fan but I can’t help feel for Bird he has slowly been getting back towards what we saw of him at the Sharks. This is going to be a massive setback for him I hope broncos have a good psychologist I think this injury is going to be really defeating
