The Sharks have confirmed the return of Jesse Ramien to the club in 2020 after signing a new deal.

The 22-year-old will return to the Shire on a four-year deal following a tumultuous 2019 season with the Newcastle Knights.

"I’m stoked to be back in the black, white and blue, it’s a bit of a homecoming,” Ramien said on the club website.

"I want to hit the ground running, I want to try to have a big year and I’ve got a bit of a point to prove.

"I know and have played with a lot of the boys, whether it was in the NRL, the 20’s or the NSW Cup and I think I probably played my best footy at the Sharks so I’m excited to be back."

Ramien will start training with the club next week.

  1. Hope he re-captures the fantastic form he was in before he left. The sort of form that had him in origin contention. If so, happy days ahead,
