Jayden Campbell, the son of Gold Coast legend Preston Cambell, has agreed a deal with the Titans, according to nine.com.au.

The 19-year-old fullback has put pen to paper this week on a full-time contract with his father's club after rejecting several other offers.

His father is delighted. Preston played more than 260 NRL matches in his 14-year career and won a premiership, Dally m Medal, Paul Broughton Medal and Ken Stephen Medal. He started and finished his career on the Gold Coast, joining Cronulla and Penrith in between.

Jayden was a notable presence for the Burleigh Bears in the Queensland Cup this year and drew attention from scouts throughout the league.

Although he is now on a full-time contract Jaden will probably have to wait until 2021 before his NRL debut but with all the pace of his father and some extra height to boot he will be one to watch in the future.
