After 27 weeks of the NRL competition, the cream has risen to the top with eight remaining to fight for the premiership trophy on the first weekend of October.

5. Are the Warriors finally ready to win the whole competition?
The Warriors have grown as the season has continued. Injuries crept in, didn't matter. They stuck to their system, and the next man came in and did a job. It is full credit to Andrew Webster for recruiting incredible depth, which has separated the contenders from the fake.
They face the prospect of playing two home finals before packing their bags for Accor Stadium, and shape up as the most formidable road trip out of the teams left fighting in the competition.
With a lethal forward pack, led by Mitchell Barnett and James Fisher-Harris, balanced with Erin Clark's ball-playing and offloads, and a damaging interchange one-two punch with Demitric Vaimauga and Tanner Stowers-Smith, they simply roll other forward packs off the field.
The stars are aligning for the Warriors to do something magical in the next month of the season, but must take care of the Dolphins first and foremost.
If they can stiffen up their edges, which have resulted in leaking 30+ points in the past fortnight, they are on the doorstep of bringing home their first ever NRL premiership.
