The Gold Coast Titans said goodbye to six players this past week.

Included were former million-dollar man Ashley Taylor, as well as staple of the club Mitch Rein.

Most surprising of all though was their releasing former Origin utility Tyrone Peachey.

The very same Tyrone Peachey who played five-eighth in their first finals appearance since 2016.

Truthfully, I don't totally understand the decision but the Titans loss is going to be another team's gain given the undoubted talent Peachey holds.

We look at five of the most likely destinations for a player who can start at centre, in the halves or in the pack:

4. Cronulla Sharks

Wouldn't it be a super story to see a Peachey run around in the black, white and blue for Cronulla once again?

Peachey debuted for the Sharks back in 2013 with an incredible performance against the Raiders. He scored the greatest "no try" of the season.

Fans in the Shire were shocked when the nephew of their greatest ever fullback, and early fan favourite, was allowed to walk to the Panthers.

He would return with over 175 games of NRL experience, plus three Origins.

With Wade Graham's future far from settled the Sharks sure could use a creative, wide-running option. Peachey could very well be that option.

I believe the Sharks are looking more for middle options but if Peachey is available on the cheap, I'm sure Craig Fitzgibbon could put his skills to good use.
