The Canterbury Bulldogs have confirmed the departure of half Sean O'Sullivan, with the playmaker set to head to the English Super League.
O'Sullivan has been linked to a departure for the last couple of months, with St Helens confirming his signature on Friday afternoon.
St Helens will become the seventh club of his career, having played for the Sydney Roosters, Brisbane Broncos, New Zealand Warriors, Penrith Panthers, Dolphins and Bulldogs since his debut back in 2018.
He has managed just 66 first-grade games during his time in the NRL, and will be looking for more consistent game time at St Helens, who are undergoing a squad clean out that will likely include the departure of former Rooster, Sea Eagle, Tiger and Knight Jackson Hastings.
"I can't put it into words just how excited I am to come over and to be coming to a club like St.Helens. It was a no-brainer for me, and now my family and I can't wait to get over and be part of the Club," O'Sullivan said of the prospect of joining the Saints in England.

“I've bumped into Kevvie over in Australia, and once he was announced as the coach, it showed the ambitions of the Club. All my talks with him have been super positive, and I know that he and I are going to get on really well, which is a big part of me wanting to come to St.Helens, because I think he can help my footy a lot.”
Kevin Walters is set to take over St Helens as head coach at the start of 2027, with the outfit looking to move up the table.
The club have already confirmed the arrival of Solomona Faataape and Christian Tuipulotu alongside O'Sullivan, while Jacob Host, David Klemmer, Nene MacDonald, Tristan Sailor, Curtis Sironen, Daniel Suluka-Fifita and Shane Wright are the other ex-NRL players.
St Helens CEO Abi Ekoku said O'Sullivan wants to make a lasting impact on the club.
"Sean is a player of great craft and connectivity. His desire to come to St.Helens and make a lasting impact shone brightly from the outset. We are delighted to welcome him to the Club and the Town," he said.
O'Sullivan will link up with St Helens at the start of pre-season.
