Wests Tigers head coach Jason Taylor is expected to be sacked within the next 24 hours according toย Daily Telegraphย reports.

It’s understood the Wests Tigers board have already made the decision to replace the under-fire coach.

Star players James Tedesco, Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and Aaron Woods are all off contract and have been reluctant to re-sign without a clear direction for the club, starting with the coach for next season.

Theย club are expected to make an announcement on Taylor tomorrow but that may now be fast tracked.

Possible replacements for Taylor are former Wests Tigers player and current assistant coach at the Cowboys Todd Payten, as well as former Panthers coach Ivan Cleary.

  1. Tedesco the gun has been going great last two weeks nsw and Australian fullback ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

  2. I’m surprised he lasted this long. Never rated him at all.

The stuff he done to Farah last year was all for nothing too. I’m not Farah fan, but a club legend deserves to be treated better than that.

  3. Taylor has not been able to recruit, they are at least 5 players short of a 1st grade team. They need 2 centres, 1 backrower 1 prop and 1 hooker. Chee-Kam and McIlwrick might be ok from the bench or squad members,
whilst Naiqama is a winger at best.

  4. Guessing the whole Robbie saga was too much negative publicity for the club otherwise considering its only round three this should have been done last year

  5. He has always struck me as having weakness in his personality and whilst that’s perfectly fine in many aspects of life, it doesn’t work as a coach of football team.
