Wests Tigers head coach Jason Taylor is expected to be sacked within the next 24 hours according to Daily Telegraph reports.
It's understood the Wests Tigers board have already made the decision to replace the under-fire coach.
Star players James Tedesco, Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and Aaron Woods are all off contract and have been reluctant to re-sign without a clear direction for the club, starting with the coach for next season.
The club are expected to make an announcement on Taylor tomorrow but that may now be fast tracked.
Possible replacements for Taylor are former Wests Tigers player and current assistant coach at the Cowboys Todd Payten, as well as former Panthers coach Ivan Cleary.
