Sydney Roosters forward Victor Radley has learned his fate from the NRL's match review committee following a nasty hip-drop on Herbie Farnworth in Friday's preliminary final.
Radley will be free to play in the Grand Final next week after he received a $3000 early plea fine from the MRC, with a Grade 1 charge of dangerous contact.
He was pulled up after the Roosters forward was deemed to have made dangerous contact on Herbie Farnworth's legs and was placed on report.
Given his strong history of run-ins with the MRC this year, totalling six times, he was facing a nervous wait to find out if he will be rubbed out of next Sunday's blockbuster.
Radley faces a two-match suspension if he fights the charge in front of the judiciary panel and loses, but it is almost certain he will cop the fine so he can run out onto Accor Stadium in the big dance.
Meanwhile, Isaiya Katoa was pulled up for a hip-drop on veteran winger Daniel Tupou in the opening minutes of the match, and will receive a $750 fine for his work on the Roosters winger.
20 minutes later Dolphins lock Morgan Knowles was charged with a Grade 1 careless high tackle, and given it was his third and subsequent offence, copped a $3000 fine for his troubles.
Similarly to Radley, Knowles can contest the charge, but if he loses in front of the panel, he risks a two-match suspension.
The Roosters have progressed to the Grand Final after putting the Dolphins to the sword in a 36-20 triumph.
The Dolphins were in the fight for the first 20 minutes, but a line break from Robert Toia generated enough momentum for the Roosters to start piling on points. Quickly amounting to 16-0.
Next Sunday marks a full-circle moment for Daly Cherry-Evans, who was brought to the club to elevate the tri-colours to premiership contention over a brief 12-month stint, and has the chance for his last NRL match to be a title victory for the Roosters.
Cherry-Evans hasn't tasted premiership glory since his debut season back in 2011, where he and Kieran Foran engineered a Grand Final win as a youthful halves pairing.
The Roosters now sit back and wait to see who they will face, either the Penrith Panthers or Newcastle Knights, which kicks off on Sunday afternoon at Accor Stadium.
