The NRL's match review committee has charged two players from the Sydney Roosters and Penrith Panthers clash on Thursday night.
In one of the standout games of the year, the tri-colour came away with a 12-6 win which is set to lock up the minor premiership as the Roosters stole first place from the Panthers, who held the top spot for five months.
Two tries to veteran Daly Cherry-Evans and incredible defensive displays saw the Roosters come away with a crucial two points and officially put the competition on notice as the in-form team ahead of September.
In a finals-like environment, it gave a taste of what is to come in this year's race to the premiership trophy, while a pair of opposing players were referred to the MRC.
Penrith hooker Freddy Lussick was pulled up on the stroke of half-time for a grade 1 dangerous contact charge on Roosters forward Nat Butcher.
Given it is Lussick's second run-in with the MRC, he was given an elevated fine of $1800, but risks an increase of $2500 if he contests the charge and fails at the judiciary.
In the final five minutes of the match, with the Roosters up by two, the ball was swung out to Penrith winger Brian To'o, who stepped back in field and was collected high by Roosters lock Victor Radley.
The MRC came to the verdict of a grade 1 careless high tackle charge, and given it was his third and subsequent offence, Radley had the book thrown at him.
The fiery lock was fined $3000 and risks a two-match suspension if he decides to fight the charge unsuccessfully at the panel.
Radley will no-doubt take the early plea fine to continue with the Roosters' pursuit of the minor premiership, and with three games remaining, they are building with each time they take the field.
The Roosters return to Moore Park to host the Tigers on Sunday week, while the Panthers travel to Melbourne to face the Storm.
