Manly brothers Tom and Jake Trbojevic state they will not be walking away from the Sea Eagles given the current coaching dramas, but they want a decision as soon as possible.

The Sea Eagles continue to still be in limbo regarding who will be their coach for the 2019 season after current mentor Trent Barrett remains in an ongoing legal battle with the clubs hierarchy.

The club from the Northern Beaches is looking for Barrett's replacement after he handed in his resignation mid-season, but he must see out the reminder of his contract which sees him as head-coach until July 2019.

Manly had this to say in a statement last Friday:

โ€œThe club remains in discussions with several experienced and highly qualified candidates with a view to making this key appointment as a priority.โ€

Tomย Trbojevic won't be back at the club for the first few sessions of pre-season training due to his Kangaroos commitments but he is hoping it can all be resolved before he returns.

Trbojevic told Channel 9 there is no possibility of him, or his brother, walking out.

"Thereโ€™s no chance. Weโ€™re signed for another two years so weโ€™ll be playing at Manly for the next couple of years," Trbojevic said.

โ€œWeโ€™re really good friends with โ€˜Bazโ€™ and we know how good of a coach he is and itโ€™s just sad to see how itโ€™s all ended there. We wouldโ€™ve loved to have continued to play under Baz.โ€

Assuming both the club and Barrett can successfully part ways, assistant coach John Cartwright is in the box seat to take over the top job with Michael Maguire knocking Manly back last week.

Trbojevic said he is hoping Cartwright is rewarded with the head-coach role.

โ€œI know how smart he is and I know how good heโ€™s been for me as an individual,โ€ Trbojevic said.

โ€œI would hope itโ€™s him.โ€

It appears the coaching saga is casting a dark shadow over Manly with Trbojevic stating it seems like nobody has an answer.

โ€œThatโ€™s a great question, I wish I could answer it, I really wish I could,โ€ Trbojevic said.

โ€œI hope they can come to a conclusion shortly and hopefully we can move on from what hasnโ€™t been a good year for us.โ€
