The 24-man Australian squad has been named Ā for the 2017 Rugby League World Ciup and as usual, there are a number of big omissions from the group.

Latrell Mitchell is one of the best young players in the competition, and would not look out of place in an Australian jersey.
Mitchell recorded 15 tries, seven-try assists and 18 line breaks in a fine season and his try against the Broncos demonstrated his power and skill.
