South Sydney prop Tom Burgess has refused to rule out a return to the Super League.

The 26-year-old and twin brother George have been linked to moves to Canterbury once their deals expire at the end of the next season.

However Burgess has stated he would like to return to England in the future and possibly play in the Super League.

“I always like to imagine myself living back in England, at least at some point, and perhaps playing for a Super League club,” Burgess told Fox Sports.

“I’d never say never and like to keep my options open. I have got one more year at Souths.”

Burgess played 46 games for the Bradford Bulls between 2011-12, before moving to the Rabbitohs.
