The Wests Tigers are looking to secure the services of veteran utility Kurt Mann, who appears to be departing Belmore for 2027.
The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting Mann is set to make the switch across town to Concord, barring he passes the medical test and receives the green light from the Tigers.
Mann offers elite versatility across the forwards and backline and will make a positive impact on the culture at the club.
With over 230 NRL games of experience, Mann has enjoyed stints at Melbourne Storm, Dragons, Knights, and Bulldogs.
Bursting onto the scene in 2014, Mann famously scored a match-winning try from a wonky cross-field Cooper Cronk kick on his NRL debut, later totalling eight games in his rookie year.
Mann stepped up into the State of Origin arena for the QLD Maroons in 2023, playing two games during the series that year following some strong form at clubland with the Bulldogs.
He became the oldest debutant to don the maroon state colours since Arthur Beetson in 1980.
The 33-year-old perfectly acclimatised to the increase in pace of the modern game with the inclusion of six-again and faster rucks in recent seasons.
It now sees the game reward agile, nimble forwards and hookers to thrive in the competition such as Mann.
The Tigers have also recruited Jayden Brailey to stiffen up its dummy half depth and instill some strong leadership into the playing group under Benji Marshall.
Jake Averillo will also return to Sydney after spending three seasons at Redcliffe, adding some potent attacking flair in the backline and halves.
Meanwhile, Jarome Luai will depart the club for a 12-month stint at Parramatta before heading to Port Moresby as the PNG Chiefs' maiden signing.
Mann played 18 games for the Bulldogs in 2026, mostly proving impact off the interchange bench with a strong defensive game.
The Tigers, among many other NRL clubs, will commence preseason training in roughly five weeks' time ahead of the 2027 season.
