Zero Tackle have launched an NRL tipping competition for the first time in 2025, introducing a new way to tip your footy favourites.
Ours is not the conventional way to tip NRL games, and the dynamic scoring system will reward those willing to take a risk on outsiders.
Instead of simply receiving a point for each correct tip, the betting market will dictate how many points you earn for every correct tip.
So, for example, in Round 1, if you tip the Penrith Panthers to beat the Cronulla Sharks at $1.57, you would receive 157 points for the correct tip.

If their odds, however, move out to $1.65 on Friday afternoon leading into the game, you could log into Zero Tackle, simply click the 'update your tips' button, and lock in the new total of 165 points.
Likewise, if you tipped the New Zealand Warriors to beat the Canberra Raiders in Las Vegas at $1.73, you would still keep the 173 points you locked in, even if by Thursday afternoon (and subsequently, kick-off), the Warriors odds drop further, as they have in the below image.
You can update your tips as often as you like up until kick-off in any individual game, but will always receive the higher points total if odds were to drop between the time of you placing your original tip, and kick-off.
Once your tips are submitted, you'll be able to see on the tipping home screen a summary of how many points you might be able to earn in any given round if all eight of your tips were correct.
It's all about bragging rights and how you can use the market to your advantage and prove you know more about footy than your mates do.
All you need to do is register for a free account with Zero Tackle, and you'll be able to tip every round and game of the season, be featured on our tipping leaderboard, and prove to your mates that you're the ultimate NRL tipster.
