Thaiday charged from Storm game

Sam Thaiday has been charged with contrary conduct out of last night’s match against the Storm.

With the charge of the lowest grade, Thaiday will only receive a $1500 base fine for the charge, which came about because he grabbed onto Storm prop Jesse Bromwich’s thumb.

With loading for previous offences, Thaiday will receive a $1550 fine with an early guilty plea, or $2100 if he goes to the judiciary and is found guilty.

  1. Surprised there was only one Bronco charged out of that match. There was a lot of dirty play that went unpunished, a proper referee would have troubled the bin several times.

  2. One word sums up Sam Thaiday’s performances most games but particular against the Storm blatantly attacking the injured thumb of Jesse Bromwich, that word… DOG!
