Sam Thaiday has been charged with contrary conduct out of last night’s match against the Storm.

With the charge of the lowest grade, Thaiday will only receive a $1500 base fine for the charge, which came about because he grabbed onto Storm prop Jesse Bromwich’s thumb.

With loading for previous offences, Thaiday will receive a $1550 fine with an early guilty plea, or $2100 if he goes to the judiciary and is found guilty.
