Broncos vs Tigers

Brisbane will opt for youth over experience, as they look to replace Tevita Pangai Jr, who will miss the next two games through suspension. Anthony Seibold will turn to both Payne Haas and hand a debut to Pat Carrigan, instead of bringing veterans Shaun Fensom and Sam Tagataese into the side.

For the Tigers, Benji Marshall is likely to miss for another week, with Josh Reynolds to hold his spot. David Nofoaluma will be touch and go as he tries to return from a shoulder injury.

Titans vs Panthers

Tyrone Roberts is in doubt for Gold Coast, after failing to train on Monday while the Titans will also be without Moeaki Fotuaika after copping a one-game suspension.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is looking likely to return at fullback, and will replace Dylan Edwards in the No. 1. Viliame Kikau should start due to the injury to Frank Winterstein.

Cowboys vs Storm

Melbourne will be without Suliasi Vunivalu, as he's likely to accept a one-game ban for twisting the leg of Nick Meaney in Sunday's win over the Bulldogs. Josh Addo-Carr seems the logical replacement after he missed last week.

Rabbitohs vs Warriors

South Sydney could be without Greg Inglis once again, as the Rabbitohs star is 50/50 to return this weekend. Cody Walker, however, is expected to take his place in the side despite shoulder concerns.

Sam Lisone has one more week on the sidelines due to suspension. Issac Luke is pushing to be fit as he continues to come back from a hamstring injury. Blake Green should line up.

Knights vs Sea Eagles

Mason Lino is set to remain at five-eighth, which could see Connor Watson relegated to coming off the bench as he returns from injury.

Tom Trbojevic will miss the next 6-9 weeks with a hamstring injury, with Brendan Elliot set to resume at fullback as he did before Trbojevic's first game this season in round three.

Sharks vs Roosters

Another cruel injury blow for the Sharks, with Aaron Woods expected to miss three months with a fractured foot. The Sharks could realistically be without Wade Graham, Matt Moylan, Paul Gallen and Shaun Johnson this weekend. Only Gallen and Johnson are a chance to play, with the pair rated a 50/50 chance to suit up.

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves could return from a rib injury, while Cooper Cronk is set to be named despite the late hit from Pangai Jr which left him a little worse for wear.

Dragons vs Bulldogs

Korbin Sims will miss the next eight weeks with a broken arm, after playing through the injury for the final 15 minutes of the first half on the weekend.

Dylan Napa has joined Kieran Foran on the long-term injury list, as the pair suffered the same injury in consecutive weeks. Napa will miss 5-6 weeks with a syndesmosis injury, while Foran still has over two months of recovery left.

Raiders vs Eels

Joe Tapine could return for the hosts, while Aidan Sezer could also be brought into the side, although Ricky Stuart will need to decide whether or not to break up a winning halves combination.

For the Eels, Dylan Brown remains likely to stay on the sidelines for another week, with Jaeman Salmon set to play in the halves. Maika Sivo could make way for George Jennings.

  1. I seriously can’t see George Jennings replacing Sivo unless he is injured.
Our back 3 ran for a combined total of over 700m.
Yes Sivo ran for the least amount of metres of the back three but 198m is still impressive and way more than George ever does.
I think we will field the same 1-17 that beat the sharks.

  2. Agreed. Jennings was solid, nothing more. Sure, if fit he would have been in my team to start the year, but Sivo has taken his opportunities and deserves to stay in the team. He is still raw and prone to a few errors, but he deserves his spot in the team.

  3. Can you remember the last time we had a back three that pumped out that many metres per game?
Pretty sure all three players post contact metres were very impressive to.
Did you see the NRL team of the week eels47?
7 of the 13 players chosen were Eels.
Not bad going for a team that most people, including myself, picked as this year’s wooden spooners.
