Sea Eagles v Cowboys
Tom and Jake Trbojevic have been called up to the NSW side for Origin I, which will likely see Matthew Wright replace Tom in the No. 1 jersey. Apisai Koroisau will return from suspension and take up his usual position at hooker, which will see Lewis Brown relegated to bench duties. Jack Gosiewski and Brad Parker could return from injury.
For the Cowboys, Michael Morgan, Coen Hess and Gavin Cooper will all miss through Origin duty, while Matt Scott could miss the game through suspension. Johnathan Thurston is available for a pre-Origin round for the first time in a long time, while Lachlan Coote could return to fullback. Ethan Lowe and Sam Hoare should both make the 17.
Rabbitohs v Sharks
South Sydney will be without Greg Inglis, Dane Gagai, Damien Cook and Angus Crichton due to Origin commitments. Robbie Farah is set to start at hooker as Cook's replacement, while Alex Johnston and Hymel Hunt could come in to replace some Origin stars. Richie Kennar is also ready to play after an injury layoff.
The Sharks will only lose Valentine Holmes to Origin, with Andrew Fifita set to return after failing to be selected following a controversial last few weeks regarding his NSW availability. Sosaia Feki will likely replace Holmes. Wade Graham is facing a one-match ban, while Luke Lewis escaped a ban and will be free to play.
Eels v Knights
Parramatta won't lose anyone to Origin duties, and could welcome back Jarryd Hayne into the side. Nathan Brown should also be close to a recall as well.
The Knights also won't be affected by Origin I, although they could lose star centre Nathan Ross with a hamstring injury. Herman Ese'ese could miss through suspension, given he is facing a one-match ban.
Roosters v Tigers
Sydney will be without Boyd Cordner, James Tedesco, Latrell Mitchell and Dylan Napa because of Origin duty, which will mean at least four forced changes. Daniel Tupou could return in a backline reshuffle given the absence of Tedesco and Mitchell, whileย Eloni Vunakece, Sitili Tupouniua and Mitch Cornish could all come into contention.
The Tigers haven't lost anyone to Origin, and are unlikely to make changes given their clean bill of health from last weekend.
