Despite rumours to the contrary, Canberra halfback Aidan Sezer has insisted he will remain a Raider next year.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed a strong season in the face of rampant speculation surrounding his future since the Raiders' successful courtship of former Wigan Warrior George Williams.

Sezer said he was expecting to remain with Canberra for the 2020 season.

"I've still got a contract here next year," Sezer told NRL.com.

Sezer was a key contributor in his side's stunning two-point road qualifying final boilover against minor premiers Melbourne.

The Raiders, who finished the home-and-away season in fourth place, will host the Rabbitohs or the Sea Eagles in a preliminary final next weekend.
