South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold says he is wanting to see out the 15 remaining months on his contract.

The embattled figure stated he was pleased that he’s made an impact on the playing group both on and off the field, and is enjoying working with them this season.

Seibold was then quizzed on whether or not he does intend to see his remaining months out.

“My intention is to see my remaining 15 months out – allow me to reiterate,” SeiboldĀ toldĀ reporters on Thursday.

“The players play for me, I look out for relationships I’ve built out there.

“And I don’t think about external stuff.. outside of everything, we’re looking to capture 2 points against the Roosters, a massive game for us.”

  1. Me thinking, Seibolb is going to the Bronco’s, and let’s face it, if your a Queenslander there is no bigger job than the Bronco’s.

I believe that he will remain at the Rabbitohs for next year and then go.

I hope i’m wrong, and for Souths supporters to say he got his start here and owe’s us is not right, we gave him a start , sure, but, he was always destined to be a top line coach and thankgod Souths identified that.

Hopefully Seibolb remains , if not perhaps Bennett in a swap deal, whether that is a good thing for us i do not know, but we could do worse i guess.

Hopefully Seibolb is our long term coach the same has Robinson from Easts, who i rate highly, so come on Russell work your magic again please.

    • speaking as a roosters supporter, i think that Robinson is a good coach, however he has done next to none in trying to lower the roosters errors and penalties, and that has been the bane of the Roosters in recent times.
