Manly have re-signed Dylan Walker for a further two seasons, with the Sea Eagles playmaker accepting a downgraded deal to remain with the northern beaches club.

Walker's contract includes a clause that will allow Manly to review his salary following the 2020 season that could see a pay rise awarded to the Sea Eagle for the following year.

The Sea Eagles have also secured the contract of Samoan international Martin Taupau for another two seasons, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The Manly enforcer was out-of-contract at the end of 2020, but the club moved to secure Taupau for the future ahead of the November 1 deadline for rival clubs to be allowed to talk to opposition players.

Des Hasler will now look to locking down contracts for brothers Jake and Tom Trbojevic.

  1. I still think Dylan Walker is a much better centre than he is five-eight but he has played alright there. Parker and Suli have played well also in those centre spots but I think if DCE was given a good five-eight the Sea Eagles would be a really really strong side.

  2. walker is a top bloke as well as a champion 5/8 and xboxer – he’d leave Munster and Keary for dead and that Curtis Scott pussy is gunna get his stupid face smacked in if he even looks at Dyls next season.
Dyls and Martz (as i call them when we are out doin drinkypoos) showed they are 6th place quality this year and best value for money in the whole NRL so this is just an amazing and incredible signing by Des.
I’m TheAngryEagle and i’m not angry atm.

  3. I reckon the Turbos need to go to a good club like roosters or storm to become really good, then again Tom is a bit injury prone for 1 million + so manly is probably the best place for him, until 2023 anyway.

  4. Hey foong u too. Dont you pay attention? Or are you like some other drop kicks on this site that overlook facts. Walker didn’t “hit” anyone numbnutz.

  5. “Curtis Scott is a CAT. Hits a bloke who is not expecting to get hit. Its called a cowards punch.”

    Talk $hit, Get hit.

  6. Walker was found not guilty, that’s a fact, but there’s only 1 thing Manly about him, and that’s the name of the team that he plays for.
I agree with Panthers18, and would go 1 step further. I think he misspells his surname, by using a “L” where the “N” should clearly be.
