Star Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves can accept a one-game sanction for his first grade dangerous contact charge during Sunday's win over the Bulldogs.

The 30-year-old was cited late in the contest, and faces the prospect of missing his side's upcoming clash with the Titans.

Waerea-Hargreaves can challenge the ruling at the judiciary without the risk of incurring a greater suspension.

Meanwhile, Broncos prop Tevita Pangai Junior won't feature in Friday's critical encounter with the Storm, with the club announcing it will accept a one-match ban for high contact.

The 23-year-old's charge stems from a high tackle laid during the Broncos' big win over the Titans on Saturday. Pangai Jnr was sent to the sin bin after the incident.

Raiders second-row player Elliott Whitehead has avoided suspension for his contrary conduct citation. If the 29-year-old submits an early guilty plea, he can accept a fine of $1,150.

The Raiders will be looking for their fourth straight win when they travel to Auckland to take on the Warriors on Friday night.
