Former NRL halfback Jackson Hastings has decided his rugby league future. The 23-year-old has signed with the Wigan Warriors on a two-year deal from 2020.

The deal will keep Hastings in the UK until the end of 2022. He is expected to pursue an NRL return. Hastings had several NRL clubs looking at him for 2020 as his game continues to develop in the Super League.

League Express believes Hastings chose Wigan because they've added an NRL release clause into his contract.

He joined the Salford Red Devils in 2018 & has played 26 games since. His services were heavily chased in the UK, with almost every Super League team considering him.

No official announcement has been made by either club at this stage.
