Gold Coast forward Jai Arrow is contracted to the Titans in 2020, but that won't stop rival clubs from making a play at him on November 1, as his future at the Titans looks less than certain.

Arrow, who played in all three State of Origin games last season and Game I this year before an injury struck, is in high demand and is set to be courted in an attempt to get him out of the Gold Coast.

The Titans want to keep him, but the lure of playing for a bigger club could see him on the move.

Manly are set to be keeping an eye on the 24-year-old, while Parramatta and Wests Tigers are also interested in the front-rower.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Arrow could command between $700,000-$800,000 a season on a new deal.

While the Titans will be pulling out all the stops to keep him on the Gold Coast, one NRL coach doesn't believe that's where his future lies.

“Arrow will leave Gold Coast," the coach told the Telegraph.

"Why would he want to stay there? This will be a massive test for Mal. The Titans can’t afford to lose him. They will try and get him done as soon as possible.”

The Titans are currently without a coach, after Garth Brennan was moved on as head coach on Sunday.

  1. He will look good in blue and gold and love playing in our world class stadium and training at our soon to be built world class centre of excellence.

  2. I think he will stay at Titans once they hear the new coach will be Manly great 2V.
I have mixed feelings about Geoff coaching a team that isn’t the Sea Eagles, but all the best to him and Titans.

  3. The stadium paid for by the people of NSW & the soon to be built centre of excellence paid for by the NRL. None of it paid for by Parramatta.
Same as most of the team . More all the time produced by Penrith.
    Parramatta’s junior system, still a mess. 👍

  4. You would think that team who we all know as the transit lounge are letting George Burgess walk and recently missed out on Pangai Junior and Lodge. So I assume Bennett will be going shopping again. Does it ever stop. Russ get stuck into them mate.

  5. EOD, it’s called being a tenant, albeit a cornerstone 1.
It’s not uncommon for organisations to rent/lease. We don’t own the stadium, we lease it, hence we didn’t pay for it. Its not rocket science.
As for your comments re Parra juniors, I can accept/admit we haven’t produced much in the way of backs lately. That said, you can’t blame us for your clubs poor retention of late. Sivo signed on min wage (about $80k) after being in your system for several years. He’s 25, your club didn’t play him in FG, and he’s now the leading try scorer (or up there) in his first year at Parra. Blake didn’t sign with us for the coin, but thanks all the same for your ongoing contribution to his future salary.

  6. I can’t see a Goldy Lad moving to West Sydney, if Latu as a forward is 500k Peachy, Cartwright, Boyd 600k in comparison Arrow would be on a NFL players salary.

  7. Eels.. Kev was raving on about the Eels great facilities . The Eels had nothing to do with the Stadium being built at Parramatta. It’s not even in the west of Sydney. So a new Stadium being built near the coast & one built in what is really the centre of the Sydney region. None in the west.
Centre of Excellence paid for by the NRL. Penrith paid for their own. They don’t even get any of the money back from the NRL for it. ( Bias as usual . Just like being the most penalised team two years running ).
Any way.. Not much to crap on about with the facilities, when Parramatta had really nothing to do with them being built. The football club there has been run out of an old bowls club. That’s where they’d stay , except for the NRL putting up the money.
As for the players? They still produce so little at Parramatta now days. No matter how the players come to be there? They are still depending on other clubs like Penrith to produce players for them.
They can’t even get the players from Westfield Sports High at Fairfield to play for them. The best ones there going to Manly!
The only thing I agree with you about , is that Sivo should have been kept. Maybe Blake as well. Sivo had an injury last year when they needed a winger at Penrith. That’s why he didn’t get a go in first grade. Did his shoulder again , near the end of the year.
However, since Blake was injured & Zelezniak as well. How much better the effort at Penrith? Shows they were not trying at all!!
Give us a shout out when your club actually produces a good consistent first grade back from the juniors there! Even Brown is from NZ. 👍

  8. By the way Eels.. Nothing you said proved me wrong.
No new & future facilities paid for by Parramatta . For the building of them. Just as I stated .
    👍
