The Sydney Roosters are in talks with ex-Parramatta hooker Cameron King, as they want to bring him into the club to cover for current No. 9 Jake Friend.

According to WWOS, the Roosters are looking for depth in the rake position, with recent addition Craig Garvey plagued by shoulder problems.

King is currently plying his trade in England with Featherstone, but reportedly is weighing up the offer from the reigning premiers.

Friend missed the Roosters' win over Manly on the weekend, with Victory Radley shifting from lock into the No. 9 jersey.

  1. If its dry.. Roosters by 30. But do the Sydney Roosters need Cameron❔❓❔❓. Seems like a waste of money to me. Radley can fill in for Friend or Aubusson during a game both are 80 min players to give Friend a 10 min rest and that way we don’t have to waste a bench spot on a second hooker. We can have four big forwards ready to pumpable the opposition. 💪🐔👍
