Queensland and South Sydney star Dane Gagai is reportedly considering a move away from the Rabbitohs.

Following the Rabbitohs' decision to add James Roberts from the Broncos, The Daily Telegraph believes Gagai wants to shift from wing to centre, and is willing to leave the Bunnies to do so.

It is believed the Gold Coast Titans are interesting in Gagai's services.

Initially, it was thought Gagai could leave the club before the June 30 deadline, although with another two years remaining on his contract, he could wait until 2020 to leave Redfern.

Gagai's current contract is worth more than $700,000 a season.

With Braidon Burns set to return from injury soon and retake his spot in the centres, Gagai believes he'll be moved out to the wing permanently, but would rather play at centre.

Gagai has been a star on the wing for the Maroons, scoring 11 tries in 11 matches for Queensland since his debut in 2015.

  1. Rubbish story.
Bennett said , that Gagai said he was happy to stay & play in any backline position that was required .

  2. Would be a good move by the titans, get rid of Peachey who wants out and replace him with a Queensland player in Gagai. Could also see Cowboys throwing him an offer maybe
