The Roosters are interested in signing forgotten Bulldogs hooker Michael Lichaa to replace the injured Jake Friend, reports Nine.

Friend will be sidelined for up to four months after suffering a bicep tear, with Victor Radley currently filling in the No. 9 jersey for him.

It is understood that the Bulldogs are willing to let Lichaa go if they can reach a suitable agreement with Sydney.

The 25-year old responded well to his axing to the NSW Cup last week, running nearly 150 meters and scoring a try.

He made his NRL debut for Cronulla in 2014 before crossing to Canterbury the following season, logging 102 first-grade games to date.

  1. Surely they don’t need Lichaa. Terrible player and if he can’t crack the dogs 17 then that says it all really

  2. Woody you guys should aim a little higher than Lichaa. How about you guys sign Cam Smith or Damien Cook?? Plenty of cap space left ay 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  3. We don’t want the flop Liccha👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅actually the name sounds just like Redv13 when he said to the opposition the other day being a typical licckaa “Good luck today Kev.” ahahahahahaha🤣😂😆😂🤣😝😜😋

  4. Lichaa as a back up hooker would be a good pick up. But everyone k ones they are over the cap. Plus if you want a back up hooker why not throw Seggy a deal. He’s 10 times the player of Lichaa. Still right up there with his speed and attacks out off a quick play the ball. Lichaa would be better suited maybe going to the Panthers to compete with Egan and Katoa

  5. Did you enjoy the Parra victory redV13, seen as though you wished the CLOWN Kev “Good luck today Kev.”😋😜😝👅😆👅😆👅😂🤣😂🤣

  6. whats up ShAdOw you get the wrong medication N1TW1T.😜😬🤕😖🥴🤪🙃☹😠😩😲😕😖🥴🤪🥴

  7. Lichaa is a good hooker but unfortunately for him he is stuck in a sub par team.
He would go very well at the Roosters and seeing as they have a spare 5 million in their cap it shouldn’t be a worry signing him.

  8. THE RORTERS ARE RORTING THE CAP…WAKE UP NRL BE TRUTHFUL IF POSSIBLE THE RORTERS ARE 3MIL OVER THE SALARY CAP…

Good luck today Kev. 👅👅👅👅 Hope it’s a cracker of a game with minimal influence from the refs 👅👅👅👅Looks to me redv13 your a deadest Licckaa fan🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😆😂🤣😂🤣

  10. Please, please, please take this useless player off our hands. Lichaa is worst than a bad fart in a lift.

  11. Phil Gould sold off probably 30 plus players from the Panthers over the last three years. Most of those were first graders . Didn’t really buy anymore much in those years.
Compare that squad there now to the Nuggets first grade squad. Which is full of rep players & they can just keep buying more players whenever they want?
Look at the Bulldogs Squad & West Tigers Squad compared to the Nuggets Squad.
Yet those three teams are supposed to be right up at their cap limits?
Phil Gould must be the worst negotiator ever , if that Penrith squad costs more than the Nuggets squad. Which is what this says , if the nuggets can keep on buying more players.
    No wonder he left!
The real question is , ‘ How Do You Fit A $15 Million Plus Cost Team , Under A $10 Million Cap ‘? Then have room to buy more players? What a Farce….

  12. Your and 1D10T ChocolateSoldierOfDivide. The Roosters produced most of their own rep players and only purchased 3 in NSW Origin Reps Tedesco who at the Roosters went on to play for Australia and the Rookie Crighton along with retired rep player Cronk. All the others are Rooster Produced Reps.

You nutter🥜🥜 say that Wests and Canterbury are struggling with cap yet the Roosters can buy players. Numn.🎱🎱uts those two clubs have salary cap sanctions on them from the NRL. Do you know any thing Chocolate Soldier.

A club like the Roosters has one dozen players on a basic amount of cash which leaves eight.teen footy players to share the spoils💪🐔👍 . . .🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣

  13. basic amount of cash x twelve = 1,260,000
    spoils 9.6 MIL-1.26 = 8.28 MIL DIVIDED by 18 players =

  14. some are 250 some 3 to 4 some 4 to 5 some 5 to 6 some 6 to 7 two on a 1 mil

$9.6 million – base salary cap for the Top 30 players. At least 24 Top 30 players must be contracted by 1 November, 29 Top 30 players by 1 March and 30 Top 30 players by 30 June.

Also there is a system in place that most fans are not aware of. Every club is eleigable for:

$0.2 million (200,000) – Veteran and Developed Player Allowance for eligible players who were either developed by the Club prior to becoming NRL players and / or have been a Top 30 player for at least 8 years at the Club or have been a Top 30 player for at least 10 years across the game

See the Roosters have 13 players that are in that category at 200 each, work that out 🤣😂🤣😂💪🐔👍

  15. That little bonus that fans know nothing about covers our mil buck players😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Its not Rocket science, thousands of silly fans over estimate players cash with guess’s and they do not take into account that many are entitled to benefits that they do not even know about.

Do you really think the NRL do not know who is on what. Wake up CLOWNS🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

    💪🐔👍 . . . .🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🎱
