The Super League have added yet another NRL talent to their competition for the upcoming 2027 season with South Sydney Rabbitohs outside back, Moala Graham-Taufa signing a two-year deal with Hull KR.

Graham-Taufa will join the club after stints at NRL sides the Sydney Roosters, New Zealand Warriors and most recently the South Sydney Rabbitohs where he has struggled for first grade minutes.

Having only made seven NRL appearances since his debut back in 2021 with the Roosters, the 24-year-old has made a name for himself with impressive performances in the NSW Cup.

He has 87 appearances and 53 tries across his reserve grade career, where he has been able to showcase a powerful running game between time spent at centre and on the wing.

When speaking to Hull KR media on his move, Graham-Taufa feels that he has something to prove.

“This is an opportunity for me to prove myself in the Super League and take on a new challenge," he said.

“I think I'll bring a lot of energy to the group and I'm excited to pull on the Hull KR jersey and represent the club and the fans."

The New Zealand born talent played his junior rugby league with Marist Saints before moving to Australia and progressing through the Sydney Roosters' junior system.

The outside back will link up with new head coach Nathan Cayless, who previously coached against his new singing in the NSW Cup. Cayless spoke highly of the Kiwi when talking to Hull KR media.

“In my opinion, Moala has been the best centre in the NSW Cup in 2026," he said.

“The attributes that attracted me to him are his powerful running, his tackle-breaking ability and the fact he's a try-scorer.

“These are things that will complement what we already have and help us continue to improve the squad.”

With limited opportunities in the NRL, Graham-Taufa will make the move to the Super League in search of more consistent first-grade football, giving him the chance to prove he has what it takes to compete at the highest level.

His signature marks the start of the Cayless era at Hull KR.
