    • What was even sadder was that pitiful example of a haka, Australian colonial style! Even Issac Luke was mocking it on an uploaded video. Embarrassing! Let’s hope it was just for the opening ceremony and then never to be seen again. Even Jonathan Thurston was lost for words… I mean literally he couldn’t finish the words of his poem and swore under his breathe as he left which was caught on the mic.

The Kiwis are usually pumped after their haka. The Aussies looked embarrassed and deflated.

    • Agreed mate, 22,724 is a poor crowd for a game between the top two teams of the tournament (with NZ missing players). Although you don’t need to be a genius I know to figure that out! 😉

    • As I said leading into the tournament Luke Gale is useless! George Williams should be playing in his place. Losing Sam Burgess hurt England big time in a close game that the final score failed to reflect. I hope Sam sits out the rest of the World Cup and George gets a call up. Souths can’t risk further injury to Sam but George needs to start working on improving his form for 2018 now!

  1. Brad Walter @BradWalterSport

Sam Burgess medial damage 3-4 weeks so may not play @RLWC2017 again unless England make final. Bennett said they have depth in the squad.

Would Bennett play Darius Boyd and risk him being sidelined for the Broncos for 2018? I DON”T THINK SO!

Don’t do it Sam. The Rabbitohs need you and the risk is not worth it. England will not be lifting the World Cup trophy with or without you as they are hamstrung by a dud half (Luke Gale) and a coach who has run out of ideas.

In any case Bennett already showed his disdain for you by dropping you as captain and dismissing your importance to the side saying they have depth. Clearly he is inferring that you won’t be missed and can be easily replaced.

  2. Supplemental Quiz: From the photo, who are they NOT representing? Hint: they play in the 13 jersey.

Is it just me or is this an awkward oversight to have gone with this photos?

    • this photo…

Memo: What the big problem is with saying “this photos” mike? You English is no good, try Greek much better!
