Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds is in hot water after an alleged verbal altercation with hotel staff when asked to leave the venue due to intoxication.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting the incident took place in the main bar at Northies Cronulla Hotel just after 11.30pm.

Reynolds was asked to leave the venue by staff because he had drunk too much. A security guard was forced to intervene when Reynolds wouldn't leave and a witness to the incident said that Reynolds became verbally aggressive.

The witness also recounts that it wasn't just the staff that Reynolds was abusive towards, with teammates also copping a spray for apparently siding with the venue staff

Police were called to the scene and Reynolds could be charged with failing to quit a licensed premises.
