The Parramatta Eels have confirmed contract extensions for Saxon Pryke, Ryda Talagi and Christopher Petrus.

All three are former members of the Parramatta Eels Academy and have progresses through pathways at the club.

Pryke is the most well known of the group, having debuted earlier this year and been on the fringes of doing so last year.

The forward, who will be looked at as a likely candidate for the bench in Jason Ryles' side next year, has re-signed through to the end of 2028.

Talagi is due to debut this weekend against the Cronulla Sharks and has confirmed his contract out to the end of 2029 with the blue and gold.

Petrus is the youngest of the group, with the young forward representing the Australian Schoolboys as he progressed through pathways. He has been signed through to the end of 2028.

"We're extremely pleased to secure Saxon, Ryda and Christopher for the coming years," Parramatta general manager of football Mark O'Neill said.

"Having a strong Academy is an important pillar of our broader recruitment and retention strategy. While we continue to identify and attract talent from across the game, developing young players from within our own system remains critical to the long-term success of the Club."

Zero Tackle have sought clarification from the Eels as to the breakdown of whether the deals are Top 30, development, or other within the club.
